Focus: Agile Operations
Starting an agile team
Brief description
The basics of agile methods are not difficult to learn, but especially at the beginning you are faced with the question: Where should I start? This seminar provides a simple process for setting up and launching an agile team. This starts with the topic of customer centricity and the question of the needs and requirements of the users, through to the vision and operationalisation of the project. Procedures and tools are also presented in order to develop the foundations for the start, which can be used immediately in business. The practical relevance is also given in this seminar.
Development goals
- Understanding the customer in detail - the persona canvas and the customer's context with design thinking
- Understanding the benefits and purpose of a vision with the improvement kata (Hoshin Kanri)
- Understanding and optimising the value stream
- Formulate your own vision
- Derive agile roadmap & release planning (think ahead, plan from the future backwards)
- Define minimal viable product (with the help of story maps)
- Agile performance management with OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
Unique selling point
The process presented here, including the tools used, has already proven itself in practice many times over. It allows participants to work on all relevant aspects in a targeted manner in order to lay the foundations for a team launch. Ideally, the participants in the seminar should come from the team to be launched so that the best solution can emerge in the spirit of co-creation.
