Focus: SAFe for Architects

The training aims to enable you to provide joint architecture solutions and to empower you to provide system, solution, and enterprise architects and act as effective leaders and change agents within the company.

Prerequisites

To get the most out of this course, you should have at least one current SAFe certification and have started or participated in at least one ART and one PI. Course registration includes:

• Course in English, slides are in English
• Workbook for participants (physical version only)
• Eligibility to take the SAFe 5 Release Train Engineer exam

Prerequisites and online test Certification

This person is expected to perform these tasks with limited assistance from colleagues, product documentation, and support resources. These skills and knowledge are highly recommended to successfully pass the Architect exam:

• At least one SAFe certification
• Cross-team communication skills
• Full application of SAFe principles in practice
• Coaching Agile and SAFe facilitation and leading by example
• Introduction to or participation in at least one ART and one PI
• Knowledge of team dynamics
• Ability to manage stakeholders
• At least 3 months of real, practical experience as an architect

Managers and others with little technical background also benefit greatly from participating, as they can understand the architecture process and thus make team collaboration more effective.

The course is also suitable for individuals who want to gain a deeper insight into how architecture enables a continuous flow of value. Furthermore, it is suitable for those who want to know what architects should bring to a Lean-Agile company and what their contribution could be.

The online certification test is conducted in English. Participants who pass this test receive:

• Exam name: SAFe 5 Architect Exam
• Exam format: Multiple choice
• Exam access: First attempt free of charge within 30 days of course completion
• Exam duration: After starting the exam, candidates have 120 minutes to complete it.
• Number of questions: 60
• Passing the exam: 40 out of 60 points (67%)
• Exam fees: The first attempt is free within 30 days of course completion.
